As you are going off for the usual perfect Christmas tree hunt with your family and decorating the halls with loads of holly, your St Pete Pet Sitter just wants to remind you of the possible dangers pine trees and other holiday plants can cause for your furry loved ones.

Did you know pet sitting tip…

According to Pet Sitters International (www.psi.com) “Keep these poisonous holiday plants away from pets: holly, hibiscus, Christmas roses, the poinsettia and the berries if the mistletoe. Pine tree water can be poisonous, so be sure to cover open tree stand bases. The tree should be secured to the wall with strong wire or twine because a toppling tree can cause serious injjuries to dogs and cats.”
